Ever wonder what polyester thread looks like when it burns? Today we talk a short super close look at the process.
The two attempts represent two different tensions and exposure settings. The first clip used a brighter exposure and higher tension. The second clip used a dimmer exposure and a lower tension.
It was interesting how both turned out so differently. It seems as the thread melts it merges into a cooled blob of plastic (as expected).
